Sourdough Starter

Jump into the bubbly, wild world of sourdough. Discover how fermentation kept whalers fed on long sea voyages and why sourdough is making its way back into kitchens everywhere today. Join educators from the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum for a hands-on activity. Decorate your own glass jar to hold a starter culture that you’ll take home with you. 

A $5.00 materials fee is due at the time of registration.
